Disregard Application
Per section 21 of ATIPPA, 2015, public bodies may apply for the Commissioner’s approval to disregard an access request by completing the Disregard Application Form. Public bodies must complete and submit this form to our Office within five business days of receiving an access request.
Time Extensions
Per section 23 of ATIPPA, 2015, public bodies may apply for the Commissioner’s approval to extend the time for responding to an access request by completing the Time Extension Application Form. Public bodies must complete and submit this form to our Office within 15 business days of receiving an access request.
Privacy Breach Reporting
Public bodies must report all privacy breaches to our Office. Public bodies should do so by completing the Privacy Breach Reporting Form and sending it to breachreport@oipc.nl.ca. OIPC has developed Guidelines for Completing the Privacy Breach Reporting Form to assist public bodies in completing the form.
